Birthday Eve of Ally Ann

Our littlest girl,

Ally Ann where do we begin? It's your Birthday EVE! I wanted to get my thoughts out before you are here and all my time is devoted to you! (and your big sisters of course) You, my little one, are a little miracle and we want you to know how lucky and blessed your Daddy and I are to have you joining our family. 9 months ago, I surprised your Daddy with some exciting news, YOU! Without a doubt, the last 27 months with your sisters have been some of the best times of your Daddy and I's life. We are SO excited to welcome you into this fun family. You are joining the most wonderful family, extended family and friends, who love you so much and are just as eager as Momma and Daddy to meet you.

You have the sweetest, kindest, and lovable big sisters, who are excited to meet you, too. Hadley and Layton love to kiss you through Momma's belly. They said good-bye tonight to you and it melted my heart. I don't know if they completely understand that you will be here tomorrow, but I DO know they are going to love you to pieces. Because of you, Layton and Hadley, you have made me a Mom, and for that I am forever grateful. The three of you have shown me the deepest meaning of love.

You have been so sweet to me as you have grown in my belly over the past 9 months. No bed rest or swollen ankles and for that, you win! {Don't tell h&l}

We are excited and nervous but more importantly READY for you to arrive. I know that God has a purpose for you and He is going to use you to do amazing things. I want you to know that I will always be here to hold your hand when you need support. Lend a ear when you need to talk and pick you up when you fall. Most importantly baby girl, know that you're loved! You're SO loved!
Welcome, tiny little one, welcome!

Happy Birthday, Eve!
Love,
Momma and Daddy

Ally Ann's Nursery Reveal

Our gold, pink and white nursery is complete! It's everything, girlie, fancy, cozy, and ruffled-ey, yet, still simple, that I could have ever wished for!

When you walk in and look to the right you see her rocking chair, bench, and closet. Straight ahead is her changing table & crib
(which happens to be Melissa or I's as babies!)

I wanted to add antlers to her room and thought, "Why not paint them GOLD?" So, off to buy gold spray paint and VUA-LA! I love them. Gold and white glitter garland completed the look.

A stenciled wall has always been something I have wanted to try. I would HIGHLY recommend it and would suggest it to anyone. Was it hard? No, not bad! Am I a perfectionist- NOPE, so don't look up close.

antlers and garland

Mom and I found the most beautiful fabrics for her curtains and bedding. I still haven't decided on her bumpers- so, she may just get those later! (if any!)

It's a linen fabric with a cream stitched pattern throughout!

I picked out gold, shades of pink, and white poka dots for her mattress sheets.

She is monogrammed and ready!

A few prints, monograms, gold metal basket (that was silver before we spray painted them), pink knobs, a coat of white paint on the furniture and the room was complete!

Michael's Granddad made the side table, to the right crib, for the twins! We painted it white and moved it into Ally Ann's room.

We think it turned out J-U-S-T perfect! Now, we are waiting for little Miss Ally Ann to let us know she is ready to join us! Are we ready, yes! We are enjoying the twins and just waiting, waiting, waiting. We are ready to go when she is! Bags are packed, new car seats for the twins have been ordered (needed to buy new ones to fit THREE across), our newborn photographer is booked and on stand by, and our bedroom and living room has a small little area for Ally Ann! This weekend, I'll take down our Valentine decor and put up Easter.
We are ready when you are, Ally Ann! But, we are being patient!! Take all the time you need.... just come before the 25th, please!

Baby Talk: 38 Weeks

How Far Along: 38 weeks
THIRTY EIGHT WEEKS
We are on a daily count down over here and are SO excited!!!

Size of Baby: No signs of labor as of our Dr. appt. last week. I'll go again on Thursday and we shall see!

What you're doing this week: Our kitchen renovation has started and stage one is complete. Good bye ugly stain color that I didn't prefer, HELLO cream and black! You have lighted our kitchen and we LOVE you!! New knobs have been ordered and everything will go back into the cabinets this weekend.

Cravings: Nothing too particular. Cereal has been a nice nightly snack this week.

Sleep: Waking more throughout the night still, but still able to fall back asleep easily.

Fetal Movement: She is ALL over. Feeling her move really is a gift!

How are you feeling? Good, BIG, but good!

Delivery: Any day before 2-25-15!

Weekend plans? Family time, a bow party, church, brunch in Dallas with other Momma's from the area!

Twin Talk: Talk, talk, talk! The girls are simply amazing. There newest and CUTEST thing is telling us where to go, what to do. (as you read, read with your "r's" prounounced like a 2 year old "ear" instead of "errr".
"Momma, put it over there". or "Please, come over here" or "Right here, dada!" Michael and I love it! They LOVE to sing. They don't know all the words to their favorite songs, so they make them up. They are both singing right now while adding in "baby" every few words as they talk to their baby dolls. (lap tops are amazing! I love watching them play, while documenting their little lives)

I took them to the park yesterday and we had so much fun playing. They did VERY well listening to me when I told them it was time to head home. This can be a struggle, as they LOVE the park!

New few days?? This nesting Momma is getting our windows cleaned this week and I am excited about that.. who gets excited about windows being cleaned? I'm weird.. or pregnant.
Ally Ann's nursery is COMPLETE! Pictures will be taken this week and I can't wait to show you all. I am waiting a few more days for her furniture that we had painted dries. We have her "area" set up in our room and a "area" in the living room. Ohh.. and then there is her nursery upstairs. She is taking over! (and that's JUST FINE!)

Thank you to my sweet friend, Meredith, for snapping a few quick pictures of Ally Ann and I last week! I cherish this gals friendship and she happily snapped a few images in FREEZING weather! To be honest: I wasn't planning on taking any, but I made myself!

We have picked out our newborn photographer and I am excited about that. Let's get real... I'll be taking 5 million +, too! I love photography and even though Michael has made me take a little break of capturing other families lives... It's still right there in my heart!
Get ready, Michael. The camera wont be set down that much in the next few weeks.
