Ally Ann's Nursery Reveal

Our gold, pink and white nursery is complete! It's everything, girlie, fancy, cozy, and ruffled-ey, yet, still simple, that I could have ever wished for!

When you walk in and look to the right you see her rocking chair, bench, and closet. Straight ahead is her changing table & crib
(which happens to be Melissa or I's as babies!)

I wanted to add antlers to her room and thought, "Why not paint them GOLD?" So, off to buy gold spray paint and VUA-LA! I love them. Gold and white glitter garland completed the look.

A stenciled wall has always been something I have wanted to try. I would HIGHLY recommend it and would suggest it to anyone. Was it hard? No, not bad! Am I a perfectionist- NOPE, so don't look up close.

Mom and I found the most beautiful fabrics for her curtains and bedding. I still haven't decided on her bumpers- so, she may just get those later! (if any!)

It's a linen fabric with a cream stitched pattern throughout!

I picked out gold, shades of pink, and white poka dots for her mattress sheets.

She is monogrammed and ready!

A few prints, monograms, gold metal basket (that was silver before we spray painted them), pink knobs, a coat of white paint on the furniture and the room was complete!

Michael's Granddad made the side table, to the right crib, for the twins! We painted it white and moved it into Ally Ann's room.

We think it turned out J-U-S-T perfect! Now, we are waiting for little Miss Ally Ann to let us know she is ready to join us! Are we ready, yes! We are enjoying the twins and just waiting, waiting, waiting. We are ready to go when she is! Bags are packed, new car seats for the twins have been ordered (needed to buy new ones to fit THREE across), our newborn photographer is booked and on stand by, and our bedroom and living room has a small little area for Ally Ann! This weekend, I'll take down our Valentine decor and put up Easter.
We are ready when you are, Ally Ann! But, we are being patient!! Take all the time you need.... just come before the 25th, please!

  2. Looks like you got the nursery of your dreams, huh? It’s absolutely gorgeous, and almost looks like it was made especially for a princess. Kudos to you for materializing the dream nursery, and thank you for sharing! All the best!

  3. What color was the paint that you used? Does it look grey in certain times of the day? Its like the perfect color and we have been struggling finding that shade for my toddler room. Love the stencil idea as well will def have to try that!
